Tria and Silk'n Home alternatives to Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal can be a daunting process, but it doesn't have to be. The FDA has approved two different devices that can offer the permanent hair reduction laser hair removal at home.

First of these entities is Tria. It uses a diode laser to target hair, much as a more formal treatment center would. It also comes with a small device that will scan the pigment of your skin and determine whether or not laser hair removal is safe for you at the time. Many people have experienced good results with this device, and the results have so far lasted quite well. The downside of Tria is its small size. Each laser pulse covers a relatively small surface area, meaning treatment can take a long time. Tria can not be plugged into the wall while in use and takes approximately 2 hours to charge. This fee will give you around half an hour of treatment, so this can be quite time consuming, if you try to treat large areas.

Not a true laser Silk'n IPL (intense pulsed light) used, but it works on the same principle and have similar results. Reviews have shown to be effective, Silk'n and treatment times are usually shorter than with the Tria because the pulse covers a larger area. Unlike Tria, Silk'n employ limited use cartridges as the source of the pulsating light. These cartridges are good for around 350 shots and cost around $ 50 to replace.

Than greater mobility, these units are very similar to traditional laser hair removal. There is a small risk of side-effects which should be reviewed prior to use, and you may feel some discomfort.

Home laser hair removal is an excellent alternative for those who are turned off by the prospect of going to a clinic or treatment center once a month, is uncomfortable exposing the areas they want to deal with to others, or find laser hair removal prices of traditional treatment prohibitive.

A brief review of the scheme Tria Hair Removal

Laser treatment is a safe, affordable way to get rid of unwanted hair from certain areas of the body. Until recently, people would have to get this procedure done effectively by a professional. But the FDA has finally approved several home kits as Tria laser hair removal.

If you check the Tria hair removal reviews, you will discover why this product was endorsed by the FDA. Both women and men can benefit from using this laser treatment, which actually has won several awards.

Given that people dealing with pain in different ways, you'll find strength levels ranging from 1 to 5. When you are working in sensitive areas such as the bikini lines or armpits, you can start at level one. The higher force levels will lower the probability of the hair grows back. You can find 3 easy steps to make use of this laser removal, to begin with you should cleanse, shave and then towel dry your skin, next you must enter the highest level to suit your needs, and finally apply the laser on skin and wait for a beep.

A laser light would be addressed in the area of the body with unwanted hair and this BEAM would then permeate the surface and becomes a higher energy heat to remove hair follicle-stimulating and prevent hair growth. Hair shows various stages of development, so this treatment to be performed multiple times in a period of 6-8 months.

Bikini lines and under arms will generally take approximately 5-10 minutes while the legs can take 20-30 minutes. In the event that you are not certain if this hair removal treatment would work for you, there is skin sensor incorporated in the kit can help you determine whether you have the correct skin type. Ensure that you shop, when you buy this item, as the price varies and could be sold for $ 500 or even more.

Here is why you should consider Laser Hair Removal at home

Why pay thousands of dollars for a technician or dermatologist when you can use your own home laser hair removal system? Many women, even those with decent incomes, now choose laser hair removal at home. You should also move to one at home laser hair removal system and Save thousands of dollars?

Removal of unwanted hair by common methods such as shaving, haarfjerningsmidler or floor grow machines can be very messy, time consuming and, in most cases, painful also. What is worse is that these are temporary hair reduction solutions and let us not forget the hair grows back is a lot thicker with these other methods! It is ridiculous to pay for these temporary methods, year after year, to not realize how large a sum, these not-so-small payments accumulated for females. When you weigh up the total time and cost of these methods against a home laser system, you will realize that a home system has a clear advantage. Not only will it save you a lot of time in the long run, but also its cost is only a fraction of what you would pay for years of temporary relief.

There is something priceless that laser hair removal home can offer you-privacy! Research has shown that a large number of them are considering laser treatment in a clinic not, is comfortable with the level of privacy as a visit to the engineer offers and of course, it is quite understandable. Especially when we are talking about the intimate parts of the body, there are some things we just want to keep private! At home laser treatment, you perform the entire procedure itself and privacy is guaranteed.

Bearing in mind the at home method has certain disadvantages that should be considered. For security reasons, the laser is used in a home system is not as strong as the laser used in clinics. So even though you may have your laser hair removal done at home effectively, it will take a few more treatments than it would take a technician.

The second problem is that a home laser hair removal system is not appropriate for certain skin types and hair colors. By home systems are typically suitable only for light skin and dark hair. You should in any case always do a patch test. If there are no reactions, you are well set up to save you thousands of dollars needed for a course of appointments at a clinic.

It is advisable that you do thorough research when choosing a home laser hair system. With so many outrageous marks hits the market, you will want to go with a tested model.

How to get rid of hair permanent home

I don't know a woman who enjoys shave her legs or under arms all the time. I also know very few women who can afford to go to the Salon every two weeks to get their legs or arms grew. I know firsthand how annoying it can be to must shave on Monday and then to do it all again on Wednesday.

Fortunately, I have discovered a way that you can get rid of the hair permanently from luxury to your home. You do not need to visit local salon or dermatologist Office to completely get rid of your hair for good. To get rid of hair on your body for the good in the luxury of your home all you need to do is invest in the Tria laser hair removal system.

To get rid of unwanted hair for good

Most people know that they can go to a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon office and get laser treatments done to prevent hair growth. These treatments are quite expensive, and you need several of them done periodically to work completely. It can be costly and inconvenient for you to get these treatments done.

With Tria laser, you can no longer set foot from your home to remove your hair for good. This hair removal laser laser treatment is the same as professional user in their offices. It is the first hair removal laser must be approved by FHA for use in the home, and it will be just as good results as the lasers, professionals use in treatments that cost $ 400.

The laser comes with specific instructions and must be registered when you receive it first. This is for security reasons as Tria outlines specific instructions to the user to ensure safety. When you have read the manual, you can begin your first treatment.

It is not difficult to make your own treatments with the laser at home. You simply turn off the most comfortable you machine and run it over the areas on your body that you want to remove hair from. Larger areas of the body will take longer to get done. For example, it might take you 30 minutes to get each leg made while a forearm can only take you 5 minutes. The good thing is you can do these treatments in your home when you choose, and not when a professional choose.

There are other products that claim to be able to remove hair from your body at home, but none has proved as effective as Tria laser. Just pay attention to the instructions for you when you buy the laser and be sure that you follow them in order to ensure the best results.

Do not handle your unwanted hair on your body longer. Instead get Tria Laser and begin to get rid of this hair for good.

Men's Laser Hair Removal

Many men are embarrassed about their over excessive hair growth. You can't really go to the beach and enjoy yourself, it can even get in the way of dating and having fun, and it can make you look older.

It is no wonder then that more and more men are looking for a way to get rid of all that annoying hair.

There are a few ways to do this. Waxing, shaving, hair removal cremes, electrolysis, and hair laser removals will all get the job done... Well, for most people.

Men's laser hair removal is becoming more and more popular since it is a long lasting solution and for many the hair does not grow back. The great thing for men is that if the hair does grown back it is usually very fine and does not bother them at all.

It is a very good idea to do a thorough research of the salon you are thinking about using. If you go to the Hair Laser Removal Forum, just Google it, they will give you tips and advice on how to select a good salon.

In fact hair removal forums are a great way to find out more about men's laser hair removal, and get all of the answers to the questions that you might have.

While professional hair laser removal is great, one of the set backs however is the cost of men's laser hair removal.

On an average a half hour session costs around $100.00, some places it is much higher, and more than one session is required.

It is important to know that the area will need to be treated about 5-8 times before the desired results. So on an average a consumer will spend around $10,000 and more to remove the body hair.

Some men that can't afford the professional treatment have turned to home devices. Some of them work good, and some of them are just a waste of money.

Tria for example is a great little machine that is great for men's laser hair removal. It is the only one that is FDA approved that also is as closest to the professional as you can get.

Since the unit has just came out it is still hard to tell whether or not it will provide the same long lasting results as the professional does. The company claims that they are just as good. So it might be worth a try.

Tria costs around $800.00 and there are always deals, and payment plans that you can set up.

Another great device is Silk'n, also FDA approved. It removes hair almost immediately, it is a lot less painful then waxing, but the only set back is that the hair does grow back after a while.

Many people still love using it since it does such a great job of removing the hair, even though it is not permanent.

Then there is Epila. The company offers great results, but some consumers found it difficult to use and did not see great results. It is not FDA approved, so use extreme caution when using it.

TRIA Laser Hair Removal System

Have you seen reports in the news about the newly developed devices for laser hair removal at home? TRIA Beauty now distribute a revolutionary new home laser hair removal system, providing users with an easy alternative to outpatient and clinical treatments. With a personal TRIA hair remover, you can experience what it is like to have silky smooth skin without the tedious shaving or waxing. You can imagine how much time you will save after you eliminate the need for shaving and waxing, which waste hundreds of hours per year.

Using a TRIA Laser Hair Remover Couldn't Be Easier

A TRIA laser hair removal system is not much larger than an average blow-dryer. In order to effectively remove the hair, all you need to do is point the device at a small area of unwanted body hair, which will allow the laser light to get underneath your skin and in to your follicles. The appliance couldn't be any easier to use: it will deliver a beep when you have successfully performed the treatment and lets out a buzz if you need to repeat the process. The laser's light is then converted into heat when it is absorbed by the dark pigments in your hair. The heat then tells the follicle to release the hair and it will not grow back for up to a year.

User pain is generally not an issue when it comes to using a TRIA laser hair removal system. Most users report feeling absolutely nothing at all, while other users report a mild stinging that goes away quickly. Your skin may redden or become swollen, but this effect is temporary and should disappear in less than one day.

Can Everyone Use the TRIA hair remover?

This device is a great way to achieve home laser hair removal in a variety of areas, such as your back, arms, legs, chest, or bikini line. You can use it anywhere you want unsightly or unwanted hairs removed from your body. However, it's important to note that the skin on the face and head is very sensitive and can be damaged easily. If you are looking to get hair removed from these areas, it would be wise to consult a professional, or pay attention to the latest developments.

Due to the way this technology works, it's just not effective to certain people. As of right now, a TRIA laser hair remover only effectively works on individuals with dark hair and light skin. There are too few pigments in light hair to absorb the laser's energy, and dark skin can absorb too much of the heat that is intended for the hair and can burn. The TRIA laser hair removal system features a sensor to determine whether or not you will be putting yourself at risk when you use the device.

TRIA Systems Are Loaded With Benefits

There are many potential perks when it comes to using one of these systems, including:

Cost - These systems cost about $795, which is substantially less than the $1800-$4000 you could easily spend on hiring a professional to do the treatment for you.

Convenience - If you use laser hair removal at home, you eliminate the need to make appointments and take lengthy commutes to clinics and offices.

Effective Results - You can experience reduced hair growth in the target region for at least one year. Often times, hair growth is eliminated for longer than this.

Reinforce your Initial Treatment - There's no need to panic if you see a few stray hairs and have to schedule an appointment. Simply use the device on the selected area again.

It may seem like these devices are hard to find, but that's just not true if you know where to look. Simply visit the manufacturer's website for a comprehensive list of retailers and doctor's offices that sell TRIA laser hair removal systems in your area.

TRIA Laser Hair Remover

Laser hair removal has become a leading cosmetic medical service purchased by American women.  Several sessions of a virtually painless procedure frees you from repetitive shaving or other hair removal methods. TRIA's introduction of a laser hair removal system for use at home is an exciting development.

What are Advantages of Having a TRIA System?

Many people can't afford professional treatments that cost from $2,000 to $5,000 for one body area such as armpits, bikini lines, or legs. When you purchase a TRIA laser hair remover for $795, you save money if you treat one body area and much more if you use it on more than one.

Being able to remove hair at home eliminates appointments and allows you the luxury of taking care of your skin in the private comfort of your own home.  You can time your treatments spontaneously and fit them in at any time you choose.

Though TRIA home laser hair removal units are powerful enough to bring long-term hair reduction, they are safe to use.  Three settings allow you to choose between high, medium, or low energy levels.  There is a customer service line which you call to unlock your product and confirm suitability.  TRIA laser hair removal systems have been rigorously tested with clinical trials and approved for consumer purchase by the FDA.

How Do These Systems Work?

The technology behind TRIA devices is simple to understand.  The basic principle is called "selective photothermolysis", which refers to the fact that dark hair pigments absorb light energy while lighter skin generally doesn't.  Dark pigments absorb the laser beam; hair follicles are heated; and growth slows down or stops.  As a result, hairs eventually fall out and don't grow back for a long time.

The process may feel like gentle snaps of a rubber band, but some people have almost no sensation.  Your skin may redden but only temporarily.  After 6 to 8 treatments - at first every two weeks, and then once per month - you will achieve smooth, virtually hairless skin.  Your results will last for up to a year and possibly much longer.

Laser Hair Removal At Home Suits Most Areas

A TRIA will help you with all of your hair removal needs except facial hair.  People commonly use laser removers for:

underarms,
bikini lines,
legs,
arms,
chests, and
backs.

You are a candidate for home laser use if you have dark hair on light skin.  Light hair colors, such as white, blonde, and grey, do not absorb laser energy; and dark skin tones unfortunately absorb too much heat, risking skin damage.

Interested in purchasing a TRIA laser hair remover?

You can buy online or visit a retailer or physician who carries the product.  Certain aesthetic medical specialists not only sell the units, but will also provide a demonstration.

TRIA Laser Hair Removal System: A Review

This article will give you some details about TRIA hair removal system, offered by TRIA beauty. Currently priced at $495, it is expensive--quite expensive. It is useful for people with light to medium skin tones and dark hair. Fortunately, the product comes with an inbuilt skin sensor, allowing you to test your skin before treatment. This hair removal system can free you from a lifetime of shaving, waxing, ingrown hairs and razor burn, making your life much simpler. It delivers permanent, professional results at home, only in a matter of 6-8 months.

TRIA's two step process simplifies the hair removal process, but only on paper. In essence, you need to be very cautious of doing more damage than harm; though TRIA has a good reputation. Size of treatment head is quite small, which can make it inefficient for larger body parts. It uses pulsed diode laser which works well for dark hair on pale skin. Dark melanin absorbs near infrared radiation from the lasers, creating excessive heat.

TRIA laser hair removal system flashes near infrared radiation into your skin, allowing black hair to absorb it. This heats and fries up the hair follicles. The treatment like any other laser treatment can leave some rashes, but they usually subside in no time. If that is not the case, please use an ice pack till the pain and rashes subside. It is recommended that you alter power settings and ensure you find one that suits best.

As a consumer, you would be interested in amount of time you need to spend with this product. Usually, bikini line and underarms take somewhere between 5-10 minutes, whereas legs can take longer, upto 30 minutes. It is recommended that you should treat yourself twice a month, followed by once a month for the following 3-5 months.

Unfortunately, FDA does not recommend using this product on face, especially around the eyes. Before you embark on a hair rising experience, please consult the manual and read all the details properly. Better still, consult with a clinical consultant.

Remember though, these kind of treatments will not permanently remove hair. TRIA laser hair removal product could do with larger treatment head, longer battery life and lighter weight. As a matter of fact, most consumers have complained about its small treatment head and how it is ineffective on larger treatment areas. Still, if you are interested, research laser hair removal techniques well.

Home Laser Hair Removal devices (Silk'n and Tria) Versus professional Laser Hair Removal treatments

In the United States are removing hair permanently by using a laser, the fastest growing non-surgical aesthetic laser cosmetic procedure. Number of performed laser hair removal sessions are expected to grow 18 percent per year. This means that an estimated 6, 000, 000 laser hair removal procedures performed in 2010!

Traditionally, the removal of hair beauty reasons most popular among women-almost all women over 12 years old engage in practice in some way, shape or form. Laser hair removal for men, however, is growing rapidly in popularity. More and more men seek permanent hair removal solutions-at the neck, to solve problems of ingrown hairs, and on the chest, back and shoulders, mainly for cosmetic purposes.

With the size of the consumer market for permanent hair removal treatments are growing at a fast pace, recently, we have seen new technologies to help shoulder the load of the consumer market. In this article, I will discuss two handheld devices and give points of comparison with regard to professional medical lasers. But, first, let us discuss how laser hair removal works.

Laser hair removal works by means of laser energy, targeting melanin in your hair damage your hair follicles. When damaged hair follicles will no longer produce new hair. After a series of treatments follicle-stimulating basically die and cannot grow hair.

In the past, has the ideal candidates for laser hair removal light skin and thick dark hair. But laser technology has evolved, and now, darker skinned and tan people can also see amazing results (using a Nd: YAG laser).

A series of treatments are necessary for an effective treatment because the laser is only effective when it affects follicle-stimulating in its growth phase. In the growth phase of hair growth cycle, follicle-stimulating, most melanin, which is necessary for laser light to target. Since each hair can be in different growth phase at any given time, several treatments are required to ensure you are processing framework all the hairs in the right growth stage.

Let us move on to the cost of laser hair removal treatments.

The price for a laser hair removal treatment depends on many factors, including the region where laser center is located and the size of the area being treated.

If you live in New York, and have your appointments at Assara Laser, you can make an unlimited full body Laser Hair Removal for $ 449 per month. This means that you can laser each body part you want for $ 449 per month-from your sideburns, upper lip, arms, back, bikini, bum, ben. An average client is treated when every 4-5 weeks for six meetings, so under this program is the cost of six sessions in the whole body treatments around $ 2,700, paid 6 installments of $ 449.

How laser hair removal the sensor?

People always want to know how much pain involved in laser hair removal. There is some pain involved. Laser zap feels a snap on your skin, but a handheld cooled air jet linked to laser helps cool your skin and reduce discomfort.

Genes coming from the light energy from the laser is converted to heat energy when the laser light is absorbed by melanin in your hair follicle-stimulating. An experienced laser practitioners should therefore keep the energy level Laser high enough to create enough heat to damage and disable the hair follicle-stimulating but low enough so there is no damage to the surrounding skin.

Now that we are armed with these tidbits of knowledge. Let us compare the home laser hair removal systems with medical laser systems are used in laser centers, Medispas.

Price is on the date of this article, the Tria price point $ 595. It is a little more than the price of a full body session under program unlimited, I mentioned earlier.

Light-source/wavelength-Tria uses a diode laser and Silk'n uses intense pulse light IPL flash light to work. For light skin, Alexandrite (or Alex) the laser is generally the idea is most efficient wavelength for laser hair removal purposes. IPLs are generally regarded as an antiquated system compared to lasers. They are commonly thought of as less efficient and more likely to cause damage because the light emitted from the flash bulb is not focused so that it is more likely that disperse in the client's skin before they reached the melanin rich hair follicle-stimulating blub.

The biggest disadvantage of laser hair removal home units with respect to the light source is that neither the Tria laser diode or Silk'n's IPL system is suitable for tan or dark skin; most practitioners will recommend the use of Nd: YAG laser for skin with pigment.

Fluence,/energy level--fluence, (or energy level) is another important factor in laser power and efficiency for permanent hair reduction. Fluence, is measured in joules per square centimeter (J/cm²). Tria has an adjustable fluence, level between 7 and 20 joules. Silk'n has a fluence, level of 5 joules. As previously discussed, the energy level is sufficient to cause permanent damage to the hair follicle-stimulating so turned off forever from growing hair.

True medical lasers used for laser hair removal, Cynosure Apogee Elite (Alexandrite and Nd: YAG) has maximum fluence, levels selectable by laser practitioner of between 50 and 80 joules. An experienced laser practitioners will usually choose an energy level of between 25 and 60 joule for an effective treatment. The practitioner must be careful not give too little energy, which weakens the effectiveness of the treatment, and also must be careful not to give too much energy, which can damage the surrounding skin.

So there you have it; The handhelds are a little cheaper than a single full-body professional laser hair removal treatment. They are not relevant to tan or dark skin, and their energy levels are much lower than what is commonly used by medical professionals. Because these products are still new, only time will tell how effective they are.

FDA Approved Home Laser Hair Removal Systems

The first home laser hair removal systems were given the stamp of approval by the FDA in 2008 which means big time savings for those who still have unwanted hair. Silk'n and Tria, both under $1,000, were used by ABC correspondent Becky Worley who said, "they do sting a bit and leave some redness".

A redness she described as a light "road rash" after using the Silk'n device. It eventually disappeared in a couple of days and left no scar.. Silk'n took all of 15 minutes to cover the entire lower leg, but the Tria took 40 minutes as it covered less surface. Worley also said that the Tria "hurt less". The informal experiment led her to conclude, "I have 70 percent less hair on the Silk'n leg and about 30 percent less hair on the Tria leg"

The two companies issued statements right after Worley's findings.

Silk'n addressed the issue of pain by saying it had 5 energy settings and that using the highest energy setting to achieve hair reduction wasn't necessary. On the other hand, Tria claimed its laser technology provided better hair removal results in the long run than Silk'n's low powered pulsed light which appeared to remove a lot of hair at the beginning of the treatment but grew back shortly.

A word of warning to users though-the FDA has not approved the use of these devices on the face.

Price tags for these two home laser hair removal systems, Silk'n $499, the Tria, $795.

My experiences with Tria Hair Removal

Today I want to review one of my absolute favorite products on the market at the moment: Tria home hair removal system. I do reviews for many different products, but this one really glaring in my eyes as one of the most innovative products in the beauty industry over the last several years. Tria allows consumers to get the exact same results you would expect to get from a salon quality laser hair removal center, only in the privacy and comfort of your own home. I personally have used Tria around 7 months, and I am beyond happy. Today I will give you some information about the product and give you my personal experience with this beautiful little piece of machinery.

First off, I happen to be a man, and have been looking for a practical solution to hair removal for many years now. I did shave my chest, stomach and arms rather my whole life, mainly because of aesthetics and to cut down on heat in summer. Shaving is time consuming, costly and cause unpleasant side effects such as razor burn and ingrown hairs (both of which I happened to experience quite often). I decided in the end, I wanted something that would at least cut down on the frequency with which I had to remove the hair, so I switched to floor wax machines. This was better in time, but happens to be beyond painful, very expensive and not permanent. I still did it out of necessity, but always longed for another option. I had briefly explored the idea of going to a salon for laser hair removal, but never did it simply because of the fact that it would have been so incredibly expensive for me based on the thickness of my hair and the large quantity of areas, which would have required treatment.

Then I saw a tv commercial about a year ago for Tria. Tria laser hair removal is a pistol that is FDA approved for home use. It is a one time fee, and can be used indefinitely, until the desired result is obtained.

So far I have spent on my chest and stomach Tria in a period of about 6 months. I began to notice a thinning of the hair and slower grow back in about 3 month mark. Now at 6 months, hair is almost disappeared completely, which is fantastic to say the least. Keep in mind that I have unusually thick and course hair, which means that it is possible, others will see results even faster than I did (although Trias website says to expect results in 6-8 months).

Overall, I am very satisfied with Tria and would highly recommend it to anyone who has a need for a permanent hair removal. I personally have not had a problem with the device at all, but it comes with a 1 year warranty for extra peace of mind.

I hope this review helped, and thanks for reading!

Tria Laser Hair Removal System - At Home Laser Hair Removal

Tria Laser Hair Removal System is one of the most popular home laser treatment devices available that has been approved by the FDA. If you're looking for a long term hair removal solution and like the idea of saving money and being able to do it in the privacy of your own home, read on!

Can I Use the Tria Laser Hair Removal System?

The Tria device is not suitable for use on dark skin. To ensure that the system is not accidentally (or deliberately) used on dark skin, there is a sensor built into it. You place the sensor on the skin and the device will only be unlocked if your skin is within the correct range. Using this type of laser on dark skin will put you at risk of burning and scarring your skin, so do not try this at home if you have medium brown skin or darker. The Tria can be safely used on white to light brown skin tones.

The Tria system works best on dark course hair and you will see results within 6-8 treatments. Brown, fine hair can take up to 12 treatments to see similar results and this is simply because of how laser hair removal works. The laser used works best on light skin and dark course hair but that's not to say you can't benefit with other skin tones or hair colors (within their recommendations).

Does it Hurt?

This totally depends on your threshold for pain. For most people, laser treatment for hair removal feels like a rubber band being snapped against the skin. As you have more treatments, and the hair becomes finer, the pain will decrease. There are 5 different settings on the Tria laser hair removal system to suit your personal pain threshold. Many people start at the highest setting that is comfortable for them and are able to gradually work up to the highest setting. Working at lower settings will mean that you will need a few more treatments to get the same results but because you're in the privacy of your own home and you don't need to pay an expensive clinic, you have nothing to lose by doing this.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

How many treatments you need depends on your hair type and the device setting you use. Tria recommend that you carry out one treatment every two weeks for the first three months and then once a month for the next 5 months. If you find that within that time you have very little hair growth in between, feel free to lengthen the time between treatments.
